New WA record price paid for a Charolais bull

The Thompson family, Venturon Livestock, Boyup Brook, privately sold Venturon Talladega T192 to the Holzwart family, Bauhinia Park Charolais stud, Emerald, Queensland, for a new WA record top Charolais bull price of $50,000 after it was exhibited at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

We would like to thank The Holzwart Family- Ryan, Rachel and the girls from Bauhinia Park Bulls Queensland for their purchase of Venturon Talladega T192 for a WA Charolais record price of $50000. It’s a bittersweet moment seeing ‘Degs leave, but it makes it so much easier seeing him go to such a great family with an amazing program.

We thank everybody for their interest in Talladega. He truly is one of the greatest to have called VL home. A massive thank you to our friends at Elite Cattle Co – Charolais & Simmentals for getting him safely to QLD from Sydney His first calves have hit the ground this week and we look forward to seeing them develop. We are pleased to have retained a share in him and he will continue to be used in our program.
